Эмболия Повреждение, вызванное принесенным с кровью эндогенным или посторонним материалом. Оторвавшийся сгусток крови при тромбозе в голени, например, может закупорить часть легких (легочная эмболия). То же самое может произойти с жировой тканью из костного мозга при переломе костей. Воздух в шейных артериях может вызвать кровоизлияние в мозг.
